The Department of Biological Sciences is seeking a Lab Manager to assist the department. The Lab Manager will assist in maintaining oversight of Biology labs in Reed Hall of Science to ensure safe and efficient laboratory experiences. In addition, the Lab Manager will help foster good will with faculty and students, communicate effectively, and display a commitment to the Mission of the University. Importantly, they will exhibit an active Christian faith in personal example and work-related responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be able to devote 1/3rd of their time to lab instruction and 2/3rds with facilitating other labs and needs of the department. This is a 10-month full-time position that follows the academic calendar. Hours can be flexible, and some work can be remote.
The Department of Biological Sciences consists of eight full-time faculty members and nearly 200 majors across the disciplines of Biology, Zoology, and Environmental Science. We seek community and an environment that cultivates both academic and spiritual growth in a fully integrated manner.
